Christian Worldview
The way we view the world determines the sort of person we become and the impact we have on our culture, society, and the world. As a person thinks, so he becomes. Because of this, we strive at CCA to train our students to think like Jesus - to think Biblically. If our children learn to think like Jesus, they will become like Him.
Christian Curriculum
Bob Jones textbooks are used in our elementary school curriculum. Bob Jones is a Christian publisher and sets high academic standards. We strive to emphasize both language and critical thinking skills in order to prepare our children to successfully engage the world and Christian ministries. Saxon math is used in our upper grades. In addition to our curriculum, we have chapel once a week. Our elementary school chapel is on Mondays at 8:15am and our middle and high school chapel, which is student led, is on Mondays at 2:20pm.
Christian Teachers
Our staff of background-checked teachers are all qualified and effective instructors, but have more to offer than just credentials. Each is a vibrant believer with an intimate walk with Jesus. Because of this, each teacher is empowered by the Holy Spirit to not only teach, but also to love and disciple their students. Our teachers are free and encouraged to mentor students from the Word of God and pray with them as often as possible. And with a teacher to student ratio of 8 to 1, there are many opportunities for one-on-one interaction.
Christian Atmosphere
Our school is full of children and therefore is not perfect, but the atmosphere of CCA is marked by joy and optimism. We have high standards for speech and behavior. Behavioral problems, such as bullying, are the exception to the rule, and will not be tolerated. The parents of our students feel confident to entrust their children to us every day of the school year. Parents are also encouraged to visit the school often to see their children learning and growing.
