The way we view the world determines the sort of person we become and the impact we have on our culture, society and world. As a person thinks, so he becomes. Because of this, we strive at CCA to train our students to think like Jesus- to think biblically. If our children learn to think like Jesus, they will become like Him.
A Beka and Bob Jones textbooks are primarily used in our school curriculum. They are Christian publishers and set high academic standards. We strive to emphasize both language and critical thinking skills in order to prepare our children to successfully engage the world and Christian ministries.
Our teachers are all qualified and effective instructors, but have more to offer than credentials. Each is a vibrant believer with an intimate walk with Jesus. Because of this, each teacher is empowered by the Holy Spirit to not only teach but also love and disciple the students in his/her class. Our teachers are free and encouraged to mentor students from the Word of God and pray with them as often as possible. And with a teacher to student ratio averaging 5 to 1, there are many opportunities for one on one interaction.
Our school is full of children and therefore is not perfect, but the atmosphere at CCA is marked by joy and optimism and behavioral problems such as bullying are the exception- not the rule and will not be tolerated! We have high standards on speech and behavior which make the parents of our students feel confident to entrust their children to us everyday of the school year.
